September 2001 Meeting
 |
DATE: September
5, 2001
TIME: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
TOPIC: What’s New in Delphi 6
The VDDA is kicking off the fall meetings with a bang! (Just like
all the fall TV premiers) Michael Li from InfoCan Management will
deliver the session on all the latest and greatest features in Delphi
6. You’ve heard good things about it, read reviews on it,
and wished you could have it but, is Delphi 6 for you? Well, that
depends on what stage of Delphi development you are at, although
there is something new for just about everyone? Delphi 6 is dubbed
to be one of the most significant releases of Delphi since Delphi
3. We will try to fit in as much as we can in two hours |
Topics to be covered:
The new and improved IDE, Indy components:
dbExpress
Web
Services
XML
development
WebSnap
to name a few
Advanced
Topics
Connectivity
to EJB and CORBA
There are other more advanced topics but we
might have to cover them in a later session. If you have been to our meetings
before, you will know that space is limited so come early to get a good
seat. InfoCan is working with our Borland contacts to get products, CDs
and other goodies to give away as door prizes.

go to, make sure this one is it!
See you on September 5th!
