DL108: Delphi® 2010 Designing Applications for the Global Market

Description
To support the growing global market demand for quality software applications, Delphi® 2009 is now UniCode enabled, and includes a number of tools to help you localize applications to other languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese, German, Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, English, etc.. As you learn to use Delphi’s Translation Manager, Translation Repository, and Unicode features, you will explore best practices and recommendations for developing applications (and migrating existing Delphi ANSI based applications) that are more easily localized, deployed, and maintained. Using Delphi’s Unicode enabled IDE, the Translation Manager helps the developer to translate applications to any modern language, including how to define languages, and translate components, such as Buttons, labels, and menus. The Translation Repository is a useful tool that helps you standardize the language translation process. Concepts are taught through text, instructor-led discussions and hands-on lab exercises. Delivery is available thru on-site and virtual led (web-conferencing) classes.
