DL100: Application Development With Delphi

Application Development with Borland® Delphi™ a five-day course designed to help developers using or planning to use the Delphi environment to gain an understanding of Borland technologies. Students will learn how to successfully use the features of Delphi from configuring the IDE, to developing sample applications. Leveraging time-saving product wizards, concepts are re-enforced through a series of instructor-led and individual lab exercises.

Delphi concepts covered include event handling, client server engineering, internet application development, and more advanced database migration, interface design, and product features.

This course helps prepare students for the Delphi Product Certification exam

5 days of planned curriculum in an instructor-led, hands-on setting.

Audience
The course is targeted to those who may be new to Delphi 7 Studio Enterprise but who have experience with Pascal or a previous version of Delphi, or any visual design tool.

Prerequisites
User-level knowledge of the Windows operating system, experience in programming with visual design tool, and basic familiarity with programming and database concepts is required.
