ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) is Microsoft's data access layer for relational databases, spreadsheets, email, documents, graphics and the Internet. As such ADO is a direct replacement for the BDE. Delphi's support for ADO is likely to increase with each new release of Delphi. The Delphi ADO course is a comprehensive coverage of using ADO in Delphi. No prior knowledge of ADO is assumed. The course covers the ADOExpress components, ADO Transaction Processing, Batch Updates, Disconnected Recordsets, Recordset Persistence and more.
