DL110: Delphi Internet Development

Description
This course is designed to empower experienced Delphi developers to leverage the raw power that Borland has provided in Delphi for web based development. One of the key objectives of this course is to emphasize reuse. It you have been developing applications in Delphi and have made the investment in mastering the tool, there is no reason why you should have to learn a new language such as Java or PERL just to create web-based applications. Since 1997, we have been working with our clients to prepare and convert their traditional Delphi Client/Server based applications to n-tier, web-based distributed applications. This course was written based on our experiences from these projects. The Borland R&D team has included a long list of Internet tools in Delphi since version 3.

Like all our other courses, this course will take a hands-on approach in creating an integrated web application that utilizes all these technologies. The course will take you through some of the practical considerations as well as pros and cons on techniques that are best under different situations. The Internet Development with Delphi course is packed with information; so come and see how one week can change your view of Delphi development forever!
