INFOCAN HEADS TO
AMSTERDAM FOR EUROPEAN BORCON 2003!

Michael Li, Chief Technology Officer for InfoCan
Management, will be on the road this November speaking at the 2003 European
Borland Conference. Held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands from November 10
– 12, 2003, developers can choose from preconference tutorials and
regular sessions from .NET, Delphi, C#Builder, C++Builder, Java, JBuilder,
XML, Web Services, Linux and Kylix tracks.

Introduction
to C#Builder – PreConference Tutorial (PreCon 5)
#Builder is Borland’s latest creation for C# development. This workshop
will cover the core features of C#Builder, how it differs to VS.NET, ASP.NET
development, database connectivity options, component creation, Web Services
development, multiple target deployment, J2EE connectivity and many more
advanced features.

Preview on Delphi .NET – PreConference Tutorial (PreCon 6)
If you have been working with Delphi for Windows, this session is designed
to fast track you with the future features in Delphi.NET. Topics include
the new .NET compliant compiler, runtime library, new language features,
ASP.NET and Web Services if time permits. You should have some experience
with Delphi.
Securing
your Web Applications – Regular Session (DL10, CS10, CP6)
This session covers tips and techniques such as the NT Security model
for web applications, security filters, custom authentication schemes,
means of encrypting your data, Virtual Private Networking, SSL, and common
security holes to avoid. Learn how to protect your investments today!

If you have been working with Delphi for Windows, this session will put
you on the fast track to the latest features in Delphi .NET. Topics include
the new .NET compliant compiler, runtime library, new language features,

with Delphi.
.NET Compact
and Mobile Framework – Regular Session (DL21, CS7, CP2)
This session is designed to address the Compact and Mobile Framework subsystems
within the .NET Framework when targeting applications for PDA and mobile
devices. Topics will include a framework overview, data storage, design
consideration as well as testing and deployment techniques. The session
will also showcase deploying the same application for desktop, WinCE and
mobile phones.
